Linda, Beth and I would like to thank you for putting together an awesome Italian Honeymoon for us. You knew that I had been to Italy before, but Beth had not, so you had to make this trip extra special. From the driver with his limo who met us at the Rome airport, to the private water taxi that delivered us to the airport in Venice, you thought of everything. The hotels were all centrally located, the hotel in Rome just steps from the Pantheon, the one in Lucca a short walk to the old city, Venice just an alleyway to the Rialto Bridge. Get in touch
The planning process is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Once you are ready to take the journey together, contact me. This will give me some basic details about you and your honeymoon trip. When I receive the information, I will reach out and send you the Honeymoon Questionnaire and Agreement Form.
Questionnaire
The Questionnaire is designed for you to give me as much detail about what you are envisioning for your dream honeymoon that will make it the ultimate travel experience. I encourage you and your partner to complete it together. Or, you can each complete one to see if you are both on the same page! Submit the completed Questionnaire and signed Agreement with payment authorization and I will begin drafting a proposed itinerary that is matched to you and your preferences. Generally it can take up to 72 hours for the proposed itinerary to be ready.
My process is designed to take A LOT off your plate, while allowing us to ensure that your custom details are infused in your honeymoon experience.
Booking
Once you have reviewed the proposal after any revisions, a final proposal will be sent and you will be required to approve and sign electronically. At this time, a credit card authorization for the deposit requirement(s) and any other pertinent forms will be sent for your signature. Once those are received, I will begin the booking process and will send to you via email, the confirmation of your travel services. You will make your Final Payment approximately 45-60 days prior to travel. (This will depend on the supplier policy).
Bon voyage!
Once final payment has been submitted to the supplier(s), your final travel documents will be sent to me electronically, 15-30 days prior to travel. Once I have reviewed them confirming all services, I will deliver the documents to you either electronically or USPS. Should you have any questions, Talavera Travel will be here for you before, during and after your travel is completed. Let the journey begin... it’s time for your dream honeymoon vacation to begin!

My husband and I wanted to plan a trip to Italy for our one-year anniversary. My husband and I are both so busy during the days that I felt overwhelmed trying to plan the trip along with the fact I had no idea what to plan or where to go as this was our first trip to Italy. Linda took off running with our desired destination. I will tell you she took care of every single detail. She left nothing out of our trip. Once she booked our flights and picked hotels, she started emailing me regarding different excursions we might want to do. Our trip started in Lucca and then continued on to Cinque Terre, Florence, Greve and Rome. Every hotel or bed and breakfast she picked was different and unique and showed us different parts of Italy. Linda planned the perfect balance between relaxation and activities. We did a spectacular cooking class in Chianti which included going to the market with the chef to buy all the ingredients for our menu. We also did a bike and wine tasting tour with a private cyclist. When she planned this, she definitely had my husband in mind as he is a cyclist and thoroughly enjoyed this. For me, it was such an accomplishment because it ended being 35 miles we rode through the beautiful Tuscan hills....including drinking wine! We went wine tasting with a five-course meal at a beautiful castle. Linda also arranged private tour guides for our stay in Rome. They were so informative and taught us so many things we never knew about all of Rome, the Coliseum and the Vatican. These little details are what were so important and things I never would have thought to do. Had we not had them, there is so much history we would have missed. I could go on and on. My husband was so impressed with Linda and talks about her to everyone when he talks about our trip. I honestly can't think of a single thing I would change that she planned for us. I fully trust Linda to plan the perfect trip for my family and would not hesitate to recommend Linda at Talavera Travel. I have used other travel agents prior and have never been this impressed.
