"After months of working with her, Linda became like family to us, even though we had never met in person. When she and her husband attended our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly, we were ecstatic. She quickly became family to us and our guests.
When we decided to have a destination wedding, Cabo San Lucas was our dream location. We got married there on June 27, 2024. We found Linda at Talavera Travel through Facebook, and she exceeded our expectations.
We knew we needed assistance in planning a destination wedding and coordinating with the resort and its vendors. Linda was there every step of the way. She provided us with a list of six amazing resorts in Cabo to tour and arranged all our travel needs, hotel stays, and meetings. The first resort, “Le Blanc,” was stunning, and we knew it was the one.
Linda organized multiple Zoom calls to discuss budgets, wedding plans, and ideas. She handled all the planning, communication with the resort, and vendors, ensuring we had the most amazing wedding within our budget. She also assisted our guests with booking rooms, travel arrangements, and airport transportation, making our wedding even more enjoyable."
From the beginning, she was very thorough in our initial consultation & truly understood what we were looking for when it came to our wedding venue (admittedly a little difficult as we were looking for an all inclusive that allowed children ). In no time at all, she had a list of resorts we might like. She helped book all of our guests (40ish) & communicated on my behalf with the resort & wedding coordinator to reserve our package, communicate other details & arrange payment. Even after arriving to the resort, she was quick to fulfill requests or answer any concerns that I had. It felt amazing to not have to stress these details! It truly felt like I had a close family member, watching my back and looking out for my best interest. The resort itself was immaculate! The food was amazing, drinks were flowing & there was something for everyone. Beyond our wedding day, we cared most about the satisfaction of our guests, so we were absolutely ecstatic to find out our guests LOVED the resort just as much as we did! Now the best part: Our Wedding Day!! It was absolutely wonderful! Beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Everything from start to finish was a literal dream come true!! Get in touch
We start with inviting you to contact us to schedule a 60-minute complimentary zoom meeting with yourself and your partner so that we can get to know each other and talk about all things destination weddings. I love getting down and dirty into the details and the process and encourage you to bring your favorite beverage and list of questions!
Questionnaire
I use a detailed destination wedding questionnaire that gives me many details about what you are envisioning for your dream wedding. We will discuss this during our consultation. It's these details that help me get to know you on a more intimate level so that I can create a wedding experience as unique as the two of you.
My process is designed to take A LOT off your plate, while allowing us to ensure that your custom details are infused in your dream destination wedding experience.
The Consultation
During the consultation, I will explain the process of working with me and my team and demonstrate the value that our services bring to the wedding planning experience with our extensive knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, personalized concierge service and the inclusive tools and planning we provide to our couples as part of the package.
Next Steps
After all your questions have been answered, I will send you an email with a recap of our conversation along with the "next steps" you need to take to start planning your dream destination wedding. It will include a link to my service agreement which summarizes my inclusive services. Once you decide to hire me you will sign the agreement and submit the fee. And then the planning party begins! Congratulations!

My mom found Linda randomly somewhere online - our wedding planning journey started right after we were in contact with Linda! Linda seemed like the right fit to help plan and organize my wedding because she was open and encouraging to all of my ideas, as well as helping make these ideas come to life on our specific budget. Linda’s focus for my wedding was helping arrange and organize travel for my guests, and also helping us get in contact with venues and their coordinators, as well as the continued planning with venue coordinators until day of. Linda knows the ins and outs of destination weddings in Mexico - this was such a huge help! Linda’s attitude and approach to my wedding vision was always very supportive, realistic, and honest - she truly cared about helping make my dreams come true!!
Throughout the process Linda was always organized, on top of deadlines and available whenever and wherever she was. Unfortunately, during the early morning of my wedding day, Linda (and myself, the only two people) got horrible food poisoning and was extremely sick all morning - not only did she push through to make sure things were going according to plan but her husband Francisco stepped up and was also amazing and the biggest help! We are so grateful for Linda, and her husband, and we have continued to have a relationship with them even after the wedding. Linda, with Talavera Travel, was the only company I interviewed with to be my destination wedding planner. I’ve seen how complicated others destination weddings could be, so I explained to Linda what I was looking for and she had exactly that. She made it very convenient for my guest to book their accommodations with clear detail on everything the hotel and room entailed. Not only was it convenient for my guest, the planner for me, the bride, with month to month check list kept me on track for everything I needed for my wedding. Linda and Meliza, her design assistant, executed and fought for me with every detail I wanted for the wedding.
We had a beautiful sunset wedding in Ochos Rios Jamaica. We couldn’t have picked a better hotel. The staffs service was top tier along with the all inclusive food at the resort.
